Child Protection

Overview

Together we will explore:

• How experiences of family violence can impact on your relationships with your children
• How to build confidence in your parenting and strengthen connections between you and your child
• Strategies for managing this challenging time we are all facing.

How does Connections work?

The group is open to mothers of children of all ages, to connect in a safe and welcoming space. The group is run across eight weeks. This is a free program run by Kids First as part of the Northern Healing and Recovery Program.

We are running one group based in Dallas; however we will accept referrals from Hume/Merri Bek and NEMA catchments.

  • Tuesdays from 13th October - 8th December (no session on Melbourne Cup Day PH)
  • 10:00am – 12.30pm
  • Dallas Neighbourhood House, 180 Widford St, Broadmeadows
